Brambleside Community Association recently organised a Party in the Park, which was a great event for the local community.
The event was held to celebrate both the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and also the historic occasion of HM The Queen becoming our longest-reigning monarch in history.
Great music and entertainment was provided by the legendary Bill Burton, the Clover Hill Scout group kept everyone fed with a barbeque, and there was even a fancy dress competition. We also had many different stalls and attractions, from the Northants Model Railway club to a local gym/dance group.
It is hoped the Brambleside Party in the Park can become an annual event, and plans are already underway for 2016.
