In May 2015, the people of Brambleside Ward elected me to serve as their Borough Councillor.
These are my main priorities for our community:
- Safer Streets: I hope to deliver improvements to on-street parking and speed calming. I will also work to increase the safety of pedestrians and cyclists where possible.
- A Better Environment: I will work to deliver a cleaner Brambleside by tackling litter, dog-fouling and fly-tipping.
- A Strong Local Economy: I will work to deliver frozen council tax and promote high-quality jobs for local people, as Kettering continues to grow.
- Regenerating Kettering: I will work with my fellow Conservative Councillors to continue the regeneration of Kettering town. From new shops and restaurants, to improving the one-way system, our aim is to put the ‘in’ back into Kettering.
- Planning for the Future: I will work hard to make sensible decisions for Kettering’s future. I hope to protect and regenerate our proud architectural heritage, whilst also working to deliver key infrastructure and job opportunities as the Borough continues to grow.
- Value for Money: I will work with my Conservative colleagues to make Kettering Borough Council more efficient and commercially aware, whilst always working to protect vital front-line services.
- Transparency: I will work hard to be accessible at all times, using social media and surgeries to achieve this.
