For a number of years, I have been working closely with colleagues to secure much-needed resurfacing along Rockingham Road in Kettering.
The road was in a very poor condition and the numerous potholes were proving to be a hazard for motorists and cyclists alike. There was also an unusual jutting section of kerb near to the Britannia Road junction which was a further hazard to road users.
I am very pleased to welcome the recent resurfacing by Northants Highways. This work has included the upgrade of drain covers and also the re-alignment of the kerb to widen the road and remove the obstacle described above.
We will continue to work on behalf of residents to secure much-needed repairs to our roads and pavements such as this.
