Plans have been recently unveiled for long-awaited improvements to Kettering’s one-way system. This is one of the key manifesto pledges of Kettering’s Conservative group and it has my full support.
I very much welcome the proposal to make Eskdaill Street a two-way road, offering a better route for northbound traffic. Currently though traffic has to navigate the narrow Wellington Street and Regent Street.
A public consultation is currently underway, offering local residents an opportunity to air their views and suggestions. These ideas will be used to develop the final scheme. Head over and have your say.
