There have been several recent updates on issues affecting local residents living in the Malham Drive/Tailby Avenue area.
Firstly, Kettering Borough Council have recently confirmed that the Furnace Park play area is ready to be adopted and they are currently waiting to hear back from Persimmon Homes to progress this. The Council are also in discussion with Persimmon Homes to finalise the adoption of the park along the Slade Brook area of the estate.
Elsewhere on the estate, the woods between Asda and Malham Drive have recently attracted an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour. To find a resolution for these issues, I contacted the neighbouring care home which owns the land. They have confirmed they will be taking steps to ensure that people are not using their land on as a cut-through to Asda while they consider their options.
